Many walks above Martindale are lengthy but not strenuous, so when conditions are stable, most walkers can enjoy the beauty and tranquility. Take water; choose days when water skiiing isn't in progress. The route via Lanty's Tarn is incredibly quiet and avoids the masses for a good hour on the route up. I'm the one in yellow with a huge smile on my face which was a true reflection of the day- one of my best ever in the mountains. Thanks Matt.

Re: Helvellyn & Striding Edge

Thanks Matt for a fabulous day out, and your most excellent company (and your patience!) Scenery completely breathtaking. Weather was amazing. Climb was a little easier than Saturday but had to keep telling my legs that! Striding Edge and Helvellyn were incredible and great fun, as was Swirrell edge on the way down. Highlight of the day lying in the sunshine eating lunch and laughing our heads off like 9 year olds. Many thanks to our guide Matt who was brilliant all weekend and to Tim, Charlie and Geoff for the invitation, laughs and encouragement. Roll on next year!! Cheers, Brian.

Re: Blencathra and Sharp Edge

An excellent day with Tim Charlie Geoff and Matt. Matt helped us all along and showed us some amazing scenery. We really ejonyed the scramble and especially Sharp Edge. The initial climb, and ascent from the Tarn were quite challenging (to say the least). Amazing day, can't believe we did it! Great company from the lads and good beers and food afterwards.

Re: 105_3251

Hi Mat brilliant weekend
thanks so much mate.
see you again soon i hope for more of the same.
Cotswold Tim
